Measuring rule marking aid

The marking aid has a first part (1) with a pair of cooperating clamp arms, for securing it to the body of the measuring rule (14) and a marking arm (4) with a bore (5) receiving a marking pin, or a marking lead etc. A second part is secured to the first, after fitting it to the body of the rule and provides a stop surface, a linear slot and a pair of spaced stop projections, used for parallel movement along a required surface.
