Multi-stage radial fan

The fan housing is moulded in two separate pieces which may be joined with a seal to provide a series of inter-connected chambers, each containing an impeller to provide a multi-stage suction. The two housing parts (31,32) may be clipped together (35) with a sealing ring (44,45) to form a number of snail-shaped chambers, connected at one end to the previous chamber, or the inlet, and at the other to the following chamber, or the outlet. Each chamber so formed contains a radial fan rotated on a common drive shaft from an electric motor.
