LAUNDRY QUANTITY DETECTING METHOD FOR WASHING MACHINE

The method is disclosed to decrease waste water and to increase washing performance with exact sensing of the mass of the laundry by reading the level of water both before and after the laundry is inputted and calculating the difference of those levels. The method includes the steps of : pouring water until the first reference level; operating pulsator for agitating the laundry during a certain interval of time; reading the second water level after pulsator operation; calculating the average level of water; and converting the level into the mass of the laundry.
