The player comprises: a motor section for rotating the disc; a servo means for generating memory access means directly; a driver for rotating the disc at high speed; a data decoding means for separating data obtained into data and video data; a micro computer for detecting MPEG data and controlling audio and video decoder; and a direct memory access controller.
