摘要 <p>A frozen confectionary prod. comprises a moulded shell of chocolate or other fat covering, containing a frozen filling and a biscuit protected against humidity by a coating. The chocolate shells are made by filling a chilled rigid aluminium mould with melted chocolate (4). The mould is at less than -10 degrees C and the chocolate at more than 35 degrees C, so that as soon as the chocolate comes into contact with the wall of the mould it solidifies and the remaining liquid can be sucked out by vacuum (16). Moulds (2) are carried on a conveyor (1) as they undergo these processes. The chocolate shells are then filled with a frozen filling (19) and a biscuit placed in position. The filled shells are further chilled then tipped out of their moulds. They are then coated and wrapped. Also claimed is a device for mfr. of the frozen confectionary prod.</p>
