The folding bodywork for a caravan has two opposite supporting walls each secured to the base and roof. These fold in accordeon pattern (5a, 5b) and there are two other walls which may be foldable or removable. The supporting walls each comprise one section hinging on the roof (3) and the other on the base (4). The sections hinge together on a further horizontal axis (2). Erection may be assisted by a tension spring in each corner, anchored at one end to the roof and at the other to a rope. The latter is reeved round a pulley on a spindle parallel to the hinge axes to the end of a rod fixed to the inside wall of the lower wall section.
|
