DEVICE FOR PREVENTING A BACK-FLOW OF DUST IN A VACUUM CLEANER

The apparatus completely prevents the backflow of the dust collected in a dust collection chamber of the stick type vacuum cleaner. The apparatus comprises: an elastic partition plate(10) attached to a lower wall of the dust collection chamber(112); a circular blocking means(15) passing the dust to a dust bag(115) by a vacuum pressure generated from a motor(117), and returning to an innitial position by the elastic force in itself when the motor stops to prevent the dust or abnormal materials from falling down from the dust bag(115). The blocking means(14) is installed at the elastic partition plate(10) via a plurality of circular arc shaped connectors(17a,17b).
