PURPOSE: To provide a traversing device that can suppress flexural vibration generated to a long rod in the traversing device for simultaneous winding. CONSTITUTION: A traversing device is provided with a large number of yarn guides 5 fitted to a long-sized rod 13, reciprocated being connected to a cam box 12, so as to be used to form a large number of packages P simultaneously. Specially damping material is provided inside the rod 13 formed of a hollow pipe so as to rapidly damp vibration generated to the rod 13 by both end impact of reciprocating motion. |
