PURPOSE: To provide the air bag device which does not impair stability at the time of air bag operations, and is so constituted that neither vibration nor displacement in position take place even if any load is applied to an air bag housing when the air bag device is not in operation. CONSTITUTION: In the air bag device 20 which comprises both an air bag 3 and an inflator 4 actuating the air bag 3 housed in the inside of an air bag housing 5, and has the air bag housing 5 mounted on the side of a body while being disposed at the back face side of an instrument panel, a load catching section 22 is interposed at a connecting section between the mounting section of the air bag housing 5 to the body side and the main body (housing main body 10) of the air bag housing 5. |
