PURPOSE: To simplify the flow of parts related to the manufacture and assembly of an electric motor and a planetary roller reduction mechanism, reduce the cost of an auxiliary power assist device, shorten the manufacturing time, minia turize the auxiliary power assit device, make it light in weight, and sufficiently secure the reverse preventing capacity of a reverse preventing means preventing the reverse of the electric motor. CONSTITUTION: The main spindle 66 of an electric motor 61 and the sun roller 71 of a planetary roller reduction mechanism 70 are supported on the same axis, both the motor 61 and the roller 71 are connected integrally rotatably and separably, and a bearing 73 is provided at the same position in the car width direction as a connection section 71a. A one-way clutch 84 which is a reverse preventing means is arranged between the electric motor 61 and a reduction gear train G in the car width direction. |
