PURPOSE: To change the characteristics of a vibration isolator while the performance of a switch valve is kept. CONSTITUTION: A main liquid chamber 32 is connected to a first sub liquid chamber 34 by a first limiting passage 52, and the main liquid chamber 32 is connected to a second sub liquid chamber 70 by a second limiting passage 46. A second air chamber 74 is provided adjacent to the second sub liquid chamber 70 through a second diaphragm 68. The second air chamber 74 is communicated with the atmosphere when the voltage is applied to a switch valve 82, and the negative pressure is provided when no voltage is applied to the switch valve 82. When a vehicle is traveling, no voltage is applied to make the second air chamber 74 in the negative pressure condition, while the voltage is applied to make the second air chamber 74 in the atmospheric condition when the vehicle is stopped. The vibration in the extensive frequency range can be absorbed while the performance of the switch valve 82 is maintained. |
