<p>PURPOSE: To provide an electric brake device which contains minute feeding mechanism of large load in a wheel cylinder formed AT a brake calliper. CONSTITUTION: When a brake pedal BP is depressed, an electron control device is operated by the signal from a leg-power switch S1, a motor 15 is driven to rotate a rotary member 14, and a primary piston 8 is pressed to the left side in the figure, through a rod 12 installed eccentrically between the primary piston 8 and the rotary member 14. By the movement of the primary piston 8, a piston 4 moves to the left side in the figure through the liquid in a liquid chamber 7, so as to carry out the braking operation. When the brake pedal BP is released, the motor 15 is rotated reversely, the rod 12 moves in the direction to release the thrust, the primary piston 8 is restored to the original position by a return spring 9, and the brake is released.</p> |
