PRODUCTION OF HYDRATED CRYSTAL GRAIN OF GLUCOSE

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a process for the production of hydrated crystal grain of glucose giving a high-purity product in high yield without using a curing process influenced by the crystal form of massecuite. CONSTITUTION: This process for the production of hydrated crystal grain of glucose comprises the preparation of massecuite from starch by the following steps and the drying and granulation of the prepared massecuite to form the hydrated crystal grain without curing. (1) A hydrolysis (liquefaction and saccharification) step↑(2) a purification and concentration step↑(3) an ion-exchange chromatographic fractionation step↑(4) a constant-temperature crystallization step.
