<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a new compound having controlling action on resistant harmful organisms, useful as an insecticide, a fungicide and a herbicide. CONSTITUTION: This compound is shown by formula II (R<1> is a hydrocarbon residue; X is nitro or a group through C, S or P; Y is NX<1> -NX<2> ; X<1> and X<2> are each H or a group through C, S or P; Z is an aromatic hydrocarbon residue or an aromatic heterocyclic ring) having a structural formula I or its salt such as 3-amino-N[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-2-cyano-4,4,4,- trifluorocrotonthioamide. The compound of formula II is obtained by reacting an active methylene compound of formula III with a nitrile or an imidoyl halide or an imidate in the presence of a base. The compound of formula II shows insecticidal action on tobacco cutworm, rice stem borer, cotton aphid, etc., and is effective for controlling late blight of tomato and sheath blight of rice plant, etc.</p> |
