摘要

PURPOSE: To improve connectability of a standing surface and suppress generation of defects due to cracking in a valve seat which is metallurgically connected to a cylinder head body without leaving a melting reaction layer. CONSTITUTION: A valve seat 2 is metallurgically connected to a cylinder head body 1 without leaving a melting reaction layer. The seat 2 is formed of valve seat material having breakage extention of 1% or more at a room temperature.
