PURPOSE: To obtain a hot taste augmenting agent including sucralose, capable of augmenting the hot taste contained in a product used in an oral cavity or for ingesting orally such as a food, a feed and a medicine, and reducing the amount of the use of a hot seasoning. CONSTITUTION: This hot taste augmenting agent consists of sucralose (i.e., 4,1',6'-trichloro-4,1',6'-trideoxygalactosucrose). It is preferable to blend 0.001-0.05 pt.wt. sucralose to 100 pts.wt. products containing a hot component such as a mustard plaster, a curry, a gargle, a tooth paste, etc. Also, it is preferable to add 0.1-1000 pts.wt. sucralose to 100 pts.wt. hot component in the case of knowing the content of the hot component in advance. Furthermore, e.g. banyan ketone, capsicin and allylisothiocyanate, etc., are cited as the hot component. |
