PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the fluttering or vibration of a paper web by providing two thin plates that are parallel to each other and are perpendicular to the capture gap, and by setting the mutual clearance of both thin plates greater than the thickness of the web. SOLUTION: Two capture members 1, 2 form a capture gap 3 of a prescribed gap space (s), and a web 4 of a prescribed thickness (d) is guided through the capture gap 3. Both the capture members 1, 2 are supported by turning levers 6 respectively, and turned by hydraulic cylinders 7. On the other hand, behind both the capture members 1, 2 viewing from the conveying direction T, both upper and lower thin plates 8, 9 directed perpendicular to the capture gap 3 are arranged with a slight clearance a4 thereto. Both the thin plates 8, 9 are fixed to side frames that have a prescribed length (l) in the conveying direction T and axially extended along the width of the web 4 and provided with a prescribed mutual clearance a1 in parallel with the web 4. Especially, the mutual clearance a1 of both the thin plates 8, 9 is set greater as compared with the thickness d4 of the web 4. |
