PURPOSE: To provide a pneumatic tire in which incompatible requirements of reduced rolling resistance of a tread and excellent static discharge performance can be satisfied. CONSTITUTION: In a pneumatic tire having a conductive thin film 5 of a thickness of no more than 0.5mm on the surface of a tread 4 continuously in a circumferential direction of the tire, a volume specific resistance value of the conductive thin film 5 is set to be 10<5>Ω.cm or less. The conductive thin film 5 can be easily obtained by blending carbon black by 10 parts by weight to rubber components by 100 parts by weight.
