发明名称 INSULATION MATERIAL FOR WELDING GUN
摘要 PURPOSE: To hardly deposit spatter on insulating material by forming anodized oxide film on the outer surface of aluminum insulating material in a welding gun so as to electrically insulate an electric conductive member from other member. CONSTITUTION: In a fixed type welding gun, an anodized oxide film 101 as insulating material 17 is formed on the outer surface of Al or Al alloy insulating material main body 100. A film thickness of the anodized oxide film 101 is about 15-20μm. The insulation of anodized oxide film electrically insulates between electric conductive members of gun arm, feeder plate, etc., and other members of gun bracket, arm holder, etc. Because the melting point of anodized oxide film 101 is high about 2100 deg.C, a spatter S is not penetrated. A contact angle of molten iron of esential component of spatter against the anodized oxide film 101 is about 128 deg. and the wettability is low, the spatter is solidified on the anodized oxide film 101 in granularity. Thus, the spatter S is easily peeled from the anodized oxide film 101.
