PURPOSE: To simplify operation by providing a gap adjusting device between the first housing of a roll and the second housing opposed thereto and providing a curve correcting and pressing main cylinder inside the first housing on the rotary shaft of a curving roll. CONSTITUTION: A first housing 17 provided with a bearing 16 is provided to the rotary shaft 7 of the roll 2 curved with respect to a roll 1 and a second housing 20 having a bearing 19 is provided to the leading end of the rotary shaft 18 of the roll 1. A third housing 22 having a bearing 21 is fixed to a frame 6 inside the second housing 20. A main cylinder 13 is provided to the inside of the first housing 17 through a housing 24 having a bearing 23 to push the roll 2 in a b-direction. A gap adjusting device 14 is provided between the first and second housings 17, 20 and the wedge 15 thereof adjusts the gapδbetween both rolls 1, 2. The gapδis effectively adjusted by the wedge 15 and the main cylinder 13.
