The apparatus selectively charges the power supply of a PC and the peripheral devices when they are not used for a while. The apparatus comprises: a keyboard(1); a computer(2); a monitor(3); a printer(4); a synchronous signal generating device(5); a first connector(6); a power controlling signal generating device(7); a second connector(8); a rectifying and smoothing device; a first and a second voltage generator(10,11); and a power generating device(15).
