PURPOSE: To obtain an ink jet recording sheet adapted to observe by projecting the transmitted light of a recording image to a screen by an optical equipment such as an OHP(overhead projector) to be used in a medium to be recorded used for a full color ink jet recording system in which ink amount to be given per unit area is increased. CONSTITUTION: The ink jet recording sheet comprises an ink passage layer made of silica sol and a non-water soluble binder dispersed in an organic solvent having a primary particle size of 10 to 100nm on at least one side surface of a base material, and an ink fixing layer formed by crosslinking copolymer having a quaternary ammonium salt.
