PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate lateral swing of a load and shorten the carrying time in a jib guiding method for a crane with a derricking jib such as, for example, a mobile crane for a harbor for carrying loads between two prescribed positions by circulating and derricking the crane jib. SOLUTION: The circulation movement and the derricking movement of a jib are combined and the tip of the jib is so adapted and adjusted mutually as guided in a perpendicular plane passing at least one of two positions in the working range of the crane.
