PURPOSE: To connect solid phases with high precision by a simple method wherein a monomolecular film or a monomolecular built-up film of an amphipathic aliphatic polymeric material is formed on a connecting face of at least one member for connecting at least two members, the two members are stuck fast through the connecting face, and an electric field is applied to the connecting face. CONSTITUTION: For connecting at least two members 1 and 2, a monomolecular film or a monomolecular built-up film of an amphipathic aliphatic polymeric material is formed on a connecting face of at least one member. The two members are stuck fast to each other through the connecting face and an electric field is applied to the connecting face. The amphipathic aliphatic polymeric material to be used has hydrophilic groups 13, 15 and hydrophobic groups 14, 16 and contains a straight chain fatty acid as a principal chain, and can be formed on the surface of the connecting member as the monomolecular film or the monomolecular built-up film by the Langmuir-Blodgett's technique (LB method). For example, LB films 4 and 5 are accumulated on the surface of a Si substrate 2 and a connecting face of an Si substrate 1 which is previously purified is superposed thereon. Then, an electric field is applied in between the Si substrates 1 and 2.
