PURPOSE: To provide a double deck elevator in which the landing accuracy of each cage is on the same level as a normal elevator. CONSTITUTION: In a multiple deck elevator formed by connecting a plurality of independent cages 10, 20, corresponding to each floor hall, in one car frame, landing detecting devices 11, 12 and 21, 22 for detecting the platform level of the cages 10, 20 are individually provided in correspondence with the respective cages 10, 20. Landing control signals used according to the case of a landing call and a cage call corresponding to a single case 20 and the case of these calls corresponding to a plurality of cages 20, 10 are specified, and at the time of corresponding to the single cage 20, only the signals from the landing detecting devices 21, 22 for the single cage 20 are used to improve landing accuracy. |
