<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently operate the crusher easy to control by arranging a pressure water sprinkling nozzle to sprinkle water over the entire water surface of a sludge treating tank, sprinkling water continuously for a definite time before aeration is finished and sprinkling water intermittently at regular time intervals in the settling and discharging stages. CONSTITUTION: Two pressure water sprinkling nozzles 3a and 3b are arranged on the center line of a batch tank 1 in the longitudinal direction of the surface of the water to be treated to constitute the scrum crusher. Rotary arm-type water sprinkling pipelines 13a and 13b are connected to the nozzles 3a and 3b and connected to a water sprinkling pipeline 2 through valves 8a and 8b, and the water sprinkling pipeline 2 is connected to a pressure water tank through a valve 11. The water sprinkling pipeline 3b is rotated through an adjustable joint 9b, and the nozzle 3b is maintained and inspected close to the wall of the batch tank 1. Further, when scum is crushed in the aeration stage, water is continuously sprinkled for a definite time before aeration is finished, and, when scum is crushed in the settling and discharging stages, water is sprinkled at regular time intervals.</p> |
