METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS SHEET WITH RESIN FRAME BODY AND DIE FOR MOLDING RESIN FRAME BODY

PURPOSE: To enable to perform monolithic molding of a resin frame body to a glass sheet which can prevent a resin from leaking at the corner parts with a curved shape by forming a space for molding with a crosssectional shape which coincides approximately with the crosssectional shape of the resin frame body with a die inner wall and a glass inserting wall on the upstream side and with the die inner wall and a glass peripheral part on the down stream side. CONSTITUTION: A resin material is fed into a resin flow path of a plate-like die part from an extruder and it is fed into a space 22 for molding through the resin flow path of the plate-like die part from a feed opening 25 for the resin material. The resin material fed into the space 22 for molding is molded into the crosssectional shape of the space for molding and is molded monolithically to the peripheral edge part of a glass sheet 5. In this instance, by extruding the resin material from an opening part 26 while the glass sheet 5 is moved, a resin frame body 4 can be continuously molded on the peripheral edge part of the glass sheet 5. The gap between the die inner wall 4 and the glass sheet 5 generated in the case when the resin material is extruded into the corner parts of the glass sheet 5, can be made small by means of an inserting wall 13 by providing the glass inserting wall 13 to the die 10 and the resin is prevented from leaking.
