<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image device wherein an individual electrode of an image element array is accurately and certainly electrically connected to an individual electrode wiring, and a common electrode is accurately certainly electrically connected to a common electrode wiring. CONSTITUTION: This image device is formed as follows; a plurality of image element arrays 5 are arranged between a first substrate 4 composed of a translucent material having a plurality of individual electrode wirings 4a and a second substrate 6 having a common electrode wiring 6a, besides an image element component wherein an individual electrode 5a of each image element array 5 is connected by flip chip to the individual electrode wiring 4a of the first substrate 4, and a common electrode 5c is connected to the common electrode wiring 6a of the second substrate 6, and a lens component wherein a plurality of lenses are mounted by arranging on a lens plate are jointly provided to be fixed. A tapered part 5d is formed on an outer peripheral part of each image element array 5 of the image element component, and besides a template 7 having a plurality of holes a size of which is smaller than an outer size of each image element array 5 is arranged between the first substrate 4 and the second substrate 6.
