NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR FILTER, ITS PRODUCTION, FRAMED FILTER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a nonwoven fabric for filter having improved sag-preventing function by using short fibers such as polyester fiber and rayon fiber as a main- structure fiber and distributing a shrinking-function fiber entangled to the whole fabric in a mutually connected state. CONSTITUTION: The major part of the composition of this nonwoven fabric 2 for filter is a main-structure fiber 4 and the fabric contains a shrinking- function fiber 5 randomly distributed in the fabric in mutually entangled state. Single or composite short fiber such as polyester fiber and rayon fiber constitutes the main-structure fiber and the short fiber of a heat-shrinkable resin deforming and shrinking by the application of heat constitutes the shrinking-function fiber. The main-structure fiber entangled to the shrinking- function fiber is pulled by the shrinkage of the shrinking-function fiber to cause the shrinkage of the nonwoven fabric for filter and eliminate the sagging of the filter.
