Absorbent pants are provided comprising a pants layer intended to face the body of the user in use and an outer barrier layer which is liq. proof and arranged outside the pants layer relative to the body of the user. The pants layer has a surface area greater than that of the outer barrier layer and is joined in parts to itself, directly or via a joining mechanism, so that in use it alone constitutes the waist opening, leg openings and load bearing regions in contact with the user's body. |
