PURPOSE: To prevent the contamination of a hand, clothes or barrel inside and skipping of writing by preventing the direct and reverse flows of ink. CONSTITUTION: A refill 1 has a tip 12 of a ballpoint pen at the head of a joint 2 and an ink container 17 at the rear, and an erected rod shaft 16a formed at the end of the bore 11 of the tip and a spring 16. The end of the rod shaft pushes the rear end of the head ball, the head ball is brought into close contact with the inner edge of the ball holding part of the tip end to prevent the flow- out of ink. The contact state of the ball with the inner edge of the holding part is released by writing pressure by a mechanism for preventing the direct and reverse flow of the ink so that the ink can flow out as the ball rotates. The ink of low viscosity is filled in an ink containing tube, and a follower which follows up the ink as the ink is consumed is provided at the rear end of the ink. |
