PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for managing self-contained surgical tubing for easily and accurately connecting surgical handpieces to a console by maintaining surgical instruments at the end of the foundation, extending the line of which one end is connected to the surgical instruments along the length of the fundation toward the other free end, and providing a means for fitting up the line of the foundation. SOLUTION: This apparatus 10 for managing self-contained surgical tubing consists of the foundation or a drape 12, the line 14 and the surgical instruments 16, and the foundation has several pockets 20 and 21. When it is used, the apparatus 10 for managing the tubing which is rolled or folded is put and spread over a patient. On this occasion, the pocket 20 which folds the surgical instruments 16 comes to the side of patient's head and the pocket 21 which holds a coil 26 of the line 14 comes to his foot. The surgical console is placed on his foot or his side, when the coil 26 is moved out from the pocket 21, it is disentangled and extended to connect the line 14 to the console. |
