PURPOSE: To prevent a slip of a motor-driven belt, and lengthen the service life by setting an angle of actuation delay of a one-way clutch to connect/ disconnect transmission of motive power to/from an auxiliary machine according to a minute change in angular velocity of a crankshaft, smaller than minute seconds of arc of an angular velocity change. CONSTITUTION: When angular velocity of a crankshaft is increased in a steady operation condition of a diesel engine, since a one-way clutch 6 having an inner race 8 and an outer race 7 housing a clutch roller 10 in a recessed part 9 is put in a lock condition, motive power is transmitted through a V-ribbed belt between the crankshaft and an altenator. In this case, since an angle 8 of actuation delay of the one-way clutch 6 is set in a value smaller than seconds of arc of an angular velocity change in a high speed rotation area of the crankshaft to be transmitted to the outer race 7, a lock miss of the one-way clutch 6 in a low speed side rotation area high in an angular velocity change can be reliably avoided. |
