<p>PURPOSE: To provide a torque limiter for providing a stable slip torque value in order to accurately feed paper sheets one by one in a torque limiter to be interposed between a return roller and a driving system in a paper feeding mechanism used in a copying machine. CONSTITUTION: Many friction plates 2 are provided on the input and output sides, the flexure amount of a spring 5 for pressing the friction plates 2 is changed, and therefore, a slip torque can be changed. Generated heat is little since the pressing can be made a little by many friction plates 2, and heat dispersion is excellent since the friction plates 2 are made of metal having good heat conductivity, and the friction plates can withstand high-speed rotation.</p> |
