<p>PURPOSE: To provide a technique capable of feeding in a heavy and long material such as a construction piping material and the like from a specified feeding in port and easily and accurately moving this to one of a plurality of arrangement positions in an installing space. CONSTITUTION: A moving method for a long material includes a first step of providing a feeding in port 10 in the installing space of a long material P, placing a truck 30 moving along a track below the feeding in port and laying a track for the truck so that the track has a plurality of vertical tracks R1 extending along an X direction, in which long materials are to be arrayed, and horizontal tracks R2 extending along a Y direction orthogonal to the X direction, and a second step of feeding the long material through the feeding in port and placing this on the truck and moving the material to its arrangement position by moving the truck in the X direction after moving this in the Y direction.</p> |
