The blind is controlled by a winding device which is driven between two extremes, wound and unwound, by a reversible electric motor. The motor is supplied from a circuit with two controls, forward and reverse. The motor is stopped by an end limit switch. The moving part of the blind (1) stops naturally against its fixture (2), as one of its extremes. The motor (13) and its controlled supply (50) are connected to this fixture and are stopped when the blind reaches this extreme position. The motor forward or reverse controls (21,22) are locked off, preventing overwinding against the fixture stop, but free to unwind, when called for. The motor supply automatic stop control may be by motor temperature, current or terminal voltage sensor.
