FIELD: purification of technical water or sewage from wood tar. SUBSTANCE: bearing wood tar technical water or pulp and paper industry sewage are purified by addition as flocculants of high-molecular polyethyleneoxide and water soluble nonionic ether of cellulose correspondingly having temperature of flocculation of 35 - 80 C. Adding amount per liter of water is mainly 2 - 20 mg of high-molecular polyethyleneoxide and mainly 30 mg of nonionic ether of cellulose. EFFECT: improved quality of purification.
