Exhaust device for an internal combustion motor comprises a collector (2) to be fixed to the combustion chamber of the motor, a catalytic pot (6) containing a reducing catalyst and, extending from these, a linking pipe (3) cooperating with the fuel injectors (5) driven by controls depending on the functioning of the motor. The linking pipe contains means (4, 24, 34) of retaining liquid fuel injected by the fuel injectors, to favour the vaporisation of this liquid fuel by contact with the combustion gases passing through the linking pipe. The means of retaining liquid fuel are a filter which retains liquid whilst allowing the combustion gasses to pass through. The filter is a monolith (4) filling the whole section of the pipe downstream of the fuel injection. It is formed of a layer of porous material on the inside wall of the linking pipe or on the fuel injection orifice opening into the linking pipe. |
