FIELD: d c machines. SUBSTANCE: electrical machine has drum-type armature with slotless core carrying on its surface lap or wave running winding, and inductor built up of yoke mounting poles with pole pieces and field winding affording alternating magnetic polarity of poles. Inductor and armatures are mechanically joined together so that they rotate together with each other and with armature winding placed between smooth surface of core and pole pieces. All active conductors of running winding are concentrated near poles. Winding leads are brought out to two slip rings. This makes it possible to attain desired effect and to assemble set of three machines by appropriately connecting three-phase voltage (three-phase generator) to their field windings. EFFECT: provision for manufacturing convertible, commutatorless, ripple-free polypolar generator that can run as generator or as a c motor. 7 cl |
