The telephone set is carried in a case (1) which has two pairs of slits (1b-1e) positioned in one wall with their lengths parallel to the edges. When a belted garment is worn, the belt is threaded through the two upright slits. In the absence of a belt, the case is attached to a garment by a special clip (2) which has two limbs (2a,2b) joined together at the top edge (2c). The clip is installed with one limb inside and a kink (2b1) near its base pushed into the lower slit. The join passes through the upper slit (1e) so that the other limb is outside the case.
