FIELD: medical industry, in particular, methods of production of emulsions that can carry oxygen and are intended for use as blood substitutes, media for preservation of isolated organs, and as radiopaque agents. SUBSTANCE: the method enhances the monodispersity of emulsion due to the decrease of particles measuring more than 0.2 mcm in it. The mixture of perfluoro-carbon compounds and emulsifying agent is passed alternately through the main and additional circulation circuits of the homogenizer. Preemulsion is obtained in the main circulation circuit by dropping the above mixture of through the vessel with emulsifying agent and by pumping the obtained mixture through the homogenizer. The mixture is taken in relation 2:1, and only proxanol is used as emulsifying agent. The method provides for production of highly stable fully submicrometric emulsions with an average size of particles within 0.06 to 0.11 mcm, and the share of particles measuring more than 0.2 mcm makes up 0.4%. The emulsion can be stored at t=+20 C up to a month without worsening of its quality, there is no need to sterilize the emulsion after its production. EFFECT: simplified technology and improved conditions of process sterility. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 9 tbl |
