The photodegradable composition containing a polymer resin, photodegradable compound, coupling agent, stabilizer and organic solvent comprises as follows; The polymer resin has a major amount of a cellulose derivatives and a minor amount of more than one selected from vinyl, acryl and vinylidene resin system. A film of the composition may be used for the protection of light.
