The plate (1) has identical tenons (2) on its two parallel surfaces which are opposed. They fit into two holes (10) in the ends of two opposite slats (12). The plate is fixed to a horizontal support (5) that has two parallel tubes (6,6a) which are square or rectangular in cross section. The edge of the plate is held in the space between the tubes and has a stud inserted into a hole (3) in one of the tubes. Two projections (4) on the plate rests on the top of one of the tubes.
