FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves filling a portion of cultivation vessels with prepared substrate; positioning cultivation vessels with preliminarily germinated substrate into large-sized container in contact with cultivation vessels; inoculating and germinating substrate through perforations in wall of adjacent vessels; withdrawing cultivation vessels from large-sized container; delivering inoculation vessels into fructification chamber; filling cultivation vessels with substrate to full volume; positioning cultivation vessels in large-sized container; inoculating and germinating substrate; withdrawing cultivation vessels from large-sized container; delivering several of the total amount of cultivation vessels to fructification chamber and using remaining cultivation vessels in subsequent process cycle for inoculation. EFFECT: reduced cost and substrate germination time, simplified growing method and reduced consumption of mycelium grown on sterilized grain.
