The clasp knife contains two metal parallel plates (1,2) whose ends (1a,1c;2b,2c) are joined by transverse fixing pins (11,12) engaging in the holes pierced in the plates (1,2). A longitudinal cutting blade (3) is mounted to pivot around one of these end pins (11) to be folded away when closed between the side plates (1,2) and a longitudinal spring (4) mounted between them. The two side plates are decorated on their outer faces (1a,2a) by glazed paste.
