FIELD: manufacture of compressors; construction of electromagnetic superchargers. SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic compressor has excitation coil 1 with external magnetic circuit 3 and internal magnetic circuit 2. Mounted on either side of coil 1 are working members 4 and end cover plates 10 forming compression chamber 5 and expansion chamber 6. Working members 4 are made of magnetic material and slide between circular external and internal magnetic circuits 3 and 2 locked by end cover 10 made of insulated nonmagnetic material. Covers plates 10 have center holes 11. Circular magnetic circuits 2 and 3 and working members 4 are cut over generatrix and clearance 9 is filled with non-conducting material. Compression chamber 5 and expansion chamber 6 are brought in communication. EFFECT: simplified construction and improved operational characteristics. |
