The cleaning machine uses a rotating disc (16), rotated by a motor (14). The disc is contained in a casing (12), mounted low and passing underneath the casing. The motor is mounted on the casing, as is a supporting wheel (18). During use, moving the machine towards its front, the ground is in contact with the rotating disc and the support wheel. The machine may have two support wheels mounted on either side of the casing. These wheels may be adjustable, to be raised out of contact with the ground, so that the machine is supported only by the disc. The wheel axle may be spring loaded. The machine may have one or two transport wheels (22) mounted high behind the casing.
