The fastening consists of a moulded panel (1) with a rectangular C-section, the lower flange (10) of which is attached by screws (3), to the edge of the bus shelter roof (2) so that its vertical section lies against the roof end. The upper flange of the panel has a slideway (13) along its edge to receive the heads (41) of bolts (42) used to fasten sliding brackets (6) which are attached to the rear surface of the sign (8). The sign can be polygonal, e.g. rectangular in shape, and made from a metal or a synthetic material such as Plexiglass (RTM). The width of the moulded panel (1) is greater than the thickness of the roof.
