PORTABLE GEAR FOR DRESSING OF RUBBER-CABLE BELTS FOR JOINING AND CUTTING TOOLS FOR IT

FIELD: mechanization of work related to operation of belt conveyers. SUBSTANCE: separation of cable along length of dressing is performed in turn for each cable. For this purpose portable gear incorporates two types of separable cutting tools manufactured from bent strip in form of letter U with flat shoulder for starting strip and U-shaped with groove in lower part along symmetry axis. Cutting tools are so attached to frame that main front angle is negative, equal to main rear angle and amounts to 10-50 deg. Frame with cutting tools moves along belt with the help of cable winch. There are handles on frame used by operator to direct cutting tool along separated cable. Winch is joined to table where dressed end of belt is laid. End of belt is pressed against table with beam which carries deviating block for passage of cable when start of belt is dressed. EFFECT: simplified designed, enhanced functional reliability.
