FIELD: manufacture of rubber-cord articles. SUBSTANCE: process may be used while manufacturing couplers of drives. In compliance with process of manufacture of rubber-cord shell first frame band is assembled from rubber-cord layers and bead rings, then blank of breaker made of successive layers placed one above other is applied on to frame band. It is rolled down, outer rubber layer is applied, process of built-up of shell is finished and it is vulcanized. layers of breaker have equal width and are equidistantly displaced from its central symmetry axis to form steps which width in two adjacent layers is chosen within limits from 0.08 up to 0.25 width of layer of breaker. Width of breaker does not exceed 0.35 internal perimeter of shell. Odd layers of breaker may be displaced from its central symmetry axis to the left and even layers of breaker - to the right. Layers of breaker may be grouped in pairs and adjacent pairs are displaced from central symmetry axis of breaker to opposite sides. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of manufacturing process. |
